- Fresh Thrill coffee
- Coffee filter
- Filtered, mineralized water
- Automatic drip coffee machine
- Coffee scale (recommended)
- Grinder (recommended)
- Dose: 30g coffee
- Water: 500g
- Grind setting: medium
- Water temperature: 96C
1.Add 75g of water to the reservoir and turn on your machine.
2.Weigh out 18g of coffee beans and grind them at a fine setting.
3.Add ground coffee to the portafilter basket. Tap to even out the coffee and swipe with your finger so it is level.
4.Using your tamper, press down firmly and evenly until you feel the grounds compress and slightly "push back."
5.Flush the group head.
6.Insert the portafilter and twist to tighten; position and turn on your scale and cup aligned under the portafilter.
7.Initiate your shot. Terminate your shot by stopping the water flow once the weight of your espresso hits 36g and remove the cup and scale carefully.
8.Stir your espresso and enjoy!
